Paving and renovation of an educational facility in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for paving for a educational facility.
Sylvester Elementary will undergo a full roof replacement. Remove all roofing materials down to the existing metal roof deck. Inspect metal roof deck and replace or repair as needed. Mechanically fasten new 2" base layer of rigid insulation. Install fully adhered tapered insulation system on top of base layers to achieve an average R-value of 30. Install fully adhered 3/4 " cover board over insulation. Install fully adhere .45 mil fleece-back KEE membrane over cover board. Provide manufacturer's 20-year no dollar limit warranty. Mechanical and electrical disconnect and reconnect for all mechanical equipment. Raise height of all existing mechanical unit curbs to 8" minimum above new roof surface membrane. Replacement of existing rooftop condensing units.
