Renovation of an educational facility in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work includes replacing lay-in ceiling systems, diffusers, and lighting with new components as part of Middle School Ceiling and Lighting Improvements - Phase 3. Bids must be properly executed on the provided Bid Proposal Form and submitted in duplicate, clearly marked as "Middle School Ceiling and Lighting - Phase 3." A five percent (5%) Bid Bond is required with each bid. The successful bidder must provide Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bonds, and certificates of Liability and Worker's Compensation Insurance. The contractor must pay not less than the published Berrien County, Michigan prevailing wage rates. Each bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationships between the bidder and any member of the Berrien Springs Public Schools Board of Education or superintendent. Bids may not be withdrawn for thirty (30) calendar days after the bid opening date. Bidders must certify compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or irregularities in bids, and to accept any bid deemed most advantageous to the public interest.
