Renovation of an educational facility in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The four High School improvement projects within the Misc. Projects drawing set consist of the following: A- High School Doors and Frames- 15 new doors and frames which will meet building code ratings and improve ADA requirements; 23 additional openings will receive new hardware sets which meet ADA grasp-ability requirements; paint touch-ups at disturbed areas of work. B- Robotics and Engineering Room Power- these rooms receive additional power outlets at perimeter of room and hose reel power hung from ceiling. C- Greenhouse to Storage- An un-used greenhouse space is repurposed to a storage room for the science rooms that are adjacent. Improvements include new metal stud framing for walls and roof, new roofing; new insulation; new HVAC thru-wall unit; new tile flooring. D- High School counseling center is reconfigured to add an additional office for a third high school guidance counselor. Improvements include new mt stud framing, door and frame, new lighting, redistribution of HVAC diffusers: new cpt flooring. Each bid shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Berrien Springs Public Schools Board of Education or the superintendent of the school district. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of Thirty (30) calendar days after the date set for bid opening
