Site work for a water / sewer project in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Dredge two landscape ponds which contain hydrilla, a highly invasive aquatic plant. Ponds are both 1/4 acre in size or less. This will be a complete dredge to fully remove all hydrilla plants, fragments, and tubers, plus 2 additional feet of clean material. Utmost care must be taken to prevent hydrilla from further spreading downstream and offsite. 5% Bid Security. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond Are Required for All Bids Over $50,000.00. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Five (5) Percent Bid Guarantee. Builders Risk Insurance is Required to Be Provided by the Contractor Unless Otherwise Indicated in the Bid Documents. ALL questions should be emailed to Bill Keiper at keiperw@michigan.gov no later than 2:00 p.m., Eastern on 8/7/24.
