Site work for a water / sewer project in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project includes dredging a 60-foot x 450-foot x 2-foot area for a maximum total of 2,000 cubic yards by barge or from the shore above the Ordinary High Water Mark. Work also includes SESC measures and disposal of materials in an upland location to be determined by the contractor A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the OWNER or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Document No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The use of local contractors and labor is encouraged.
