Demolition, site work and paving for a road / highway in Media, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a road / highway; for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project is comprised of site clearing, sediment removal, grading of the streambanks, streambank stabilization, installation of retaining walls, installation of permanent 100% biodegradable stabilization matting, landscaping, erosion and sediment controls, mill & overlay, guiderail replacement, base repairs, and pavement resurfacing as required to complete the proposed improvements. Questions Due Date: Aug 11th 2026, 4:00 PM EDT If any person contemplating submission of a bid for the Work is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the proposed Contract Documents, or finds discrepancies in or omissions from any part of the proposed Contract Documents, he may submit a written request for interpretation thereof to the Engineer not later than seven (7) business days before bids will be opened. Each bid must be submitted online and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least ten (10) percent of the total bid. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to bids greater or equal to $25,000. Township Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, and to waive any informality in the bidding, as they deem in the best interest of the Township.
