Question Deadline 03/06/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted no less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening Bids to the Engineer in writing, by email or standard mail at: Systems Design Engineering, Inc., 1032 James Drive, Leesport, PA 19533 ATTN Michael W. "Chip" Pohronezny Telephone No.: 610-916-8500. Separate sealed bids will be received in duplicate for the 2026 Annual Road Project. The project consists of miscellaneous milling and installation of Superpave Materials. Bidders must register and purchase a complete set of the Bid Documents from Systems Design Engineering, Inc. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Surety Company's Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid submitted. The contractor and their subcontractors must be pre-qualified by PennDOT for the type of project work specified. Wages paid are subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and all contracts exceeding $10,000.00 must comply with Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity and related labor regulations. All contractors must also comply with the Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause as required by Pennsylvania Executive Order 2016-05. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any or all bids, and delete any item or portion of an item without affecting the bids on the remaining items or portions.
