**As of May 18th, 2026, this project has been awarded to tratton and Sons Construction Inc.for $887,532.** The work consists of furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appurtenances necessary for approximately 3.52 miles of recycled asphaltic concrete resurfacing, including patching, resurfacing, striping, and shoulder filling on Franklin Boat Ramp Rd, Sewell Rd (SR 59 to S Fairview Rd), and Clarks Creek Rd (Brown Rd to N Fork Broad River Bridge). All work must be completed in accordance with the plans, special provisions, the latest edition of the Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, applicable supplemental specifications, and the latest edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. The work will be awarded in one contract. Instructions to bidders include requirements for proposal guaranty (5% of bid amount), performance and payment bonds (100% of the bid), submission details, and adherence to all related contract documents and addenda.
