Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Savannah, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility.
The City of Savannah will receive sealed bids for a project referred to as "Savannah Fire Training Structure." Only electronically submitted bids through the supplier portal will be accepted. The Board of Purchase reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive formalities. Equal opportunity is promoted for all vendors in city purchases. Instructions to bidders include that bids must be submitted electronically through the supplier portal. Bids will be received up until 1:30 PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, after which the names of the respondents will be read aloud. Bids in compliance with Disadvantaged Business Employment Provisions will be opened and read aloud at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Question Deadline 03/15/2026 at 1:00 PM ET Questions must be submitted in writing to Johnnie Coker Via the Supplier Portal. Contractor to furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform all work required to complete all construction of the Savannah Fire Training Structure as provided in Section 4.1 Scope of Work. The City of Savannah has established a 20% DBE goal for this project of which at least half (10%) should be met by a Local DBE. A good faith effort must be made to achieve both goals.
