Site work and new construction of a civil project in Saint Clairsville, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The project involves the construction of approximately 3,340 linear feet of 6 inch HDPE sewage force main installed using conventional open-trench installation methods. The work includes a combination air release valve assembly, a submersible duplex sewage pump lift station and valve vault, a connection into a manhole in Rehm Road, and other appurtenances necessary to complete the Pennwood Lift Station and Force Main as described in the specifications and on the construction drawings. Bidders must submit security with their bid, and each proposal must include the full name of all parties involved. Evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity may be requested. Bids are only accepted from Plan Holders of Record who obtain documents from the Engineer's office. Use of domestic steel as specified in Section 153.011 of the Ohio Revised Code is required, and bidders must comply with Ohio Revised Code 3517.13. All contractors and subcontractors must use, to the extent practicable, Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements is required. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after opening. All work is subject to Federal Davis Bacon Wage rates and rules. The right to reject any or all bids and to accept the lowest and best bid is reserved. No single factor controls the award decision, and the Board reserves discretion.
