Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Taber, Alberta. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project involves the removal and replacement of approximately 715m of existing sewer line, specifically a 250mm vitrified clay pipe (VCP) that has been observed to have cracks and fractures. The existing line crosses beneath ATEC HWY 875 north of the Hamlet of Hays, continuing north parallel to the highway in a sewer ROW adjacent to the highway ROW. Part of the line is located on Bow River Irrigation District Land (BRID). TIMELINE: Request for Proposals from engineering consultants has been awarded. Schedules for tender and construction may be confirmed mid-2026. *Budget is unreleased.
