Reference Number 0000414953 Upon submission, all Proposal documents shall become, and remain, the property of the City. The City will not conduct a public bid opening. Bid results will be published and sent to each participating contractor. The cost of Proposal preparation is not a reimbursable cost. Proposal preparation shall be at the Offeror's sole expense. Late Proposals will not be accepted. The City of Fountain is seeking the services of a concrete contractor to perform the following types of concrete work: curbs & gutter, sidewalk, cross-pan/spandrel, pedestrian ramp and driveway approach construction on an as needed basis. Some of the work may be required on short notice, commencing within five (5) to seven (7) days from notification to contractor and should be completed within five (5) to ten (10) days thereafter, weather conditions permitting. The number of days to complete large projects will be negotiated. The City and the successful offeror will enter into a "Contract to Perform." This RFP is a best value contract and award. This means that cost is only one factor in determining the accepted offer.
