Bids must be submitted on the IMPACS Electronic Procurement System and accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid must also include a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check from a solvent U.S. bank. Bidders must comply with all affirmative action and equal employment opportunity provisions of Iowa and federal governments. Substitute products can be considered if a written request is received prior to the bid opening. The project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax, and Davis Bacon Wages do not apply.
