**As of May 26, 2026, the project was awarded to Jerry Aigner Construction, Inc., with an awarded amount of $539,450.10.** Chandler Utilities is requesting bids for the construction of the Libbert Road Water Main Replacement project. The project involves approximately 2,600 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water main installation along Libbert Road from Vann Road to Oak Grove Road. The water main will be installed primarily by horizontal directional drilling, with limited open cut sections at drill tie-in points, reconnections to existing water mains, service connections, and hydrant installations. The scope includes 19 meter relocations with service reconnections and installation of 3 fire hydrants. The tie-in points are at Vann Road (into an existing 8-inch PVC main and a 4-inch asbestos cement main) and near Oak Grove Road (into an existing 6-inch PVC main). The existing water main will be abandoned via cut and cap approximately 1200 feet south of Vann Road. Bids are requested for a single prime contract.
