Site work for a water / sewer project in Braddock, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Catch Basin Replacement at Braddock for Turtle Creek Valley Council of Governments - Borough of Braddock. There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting for the project. The bid book is available for purchase, and bids must be returned to the Turtle Creek Valley Council of Governments. All work under this Contract will be performed within the Borough of Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. The work under this project includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment required for the performance of all reconstruction as indicated on the Contract Documents. The work essentially includes, but is not limited to: A. Remove existing Inlet. B. Saw cut existing asphalt and/or concrete sidewalks for removal and replacement of Inlet. C. Install new Inlet and connection of existing storm sewer as shown on Plans. D. Install section of new sidewalk if required. E. The completion of all required restoration, paving, landscaping, and any other such related and required work. F. All other such related and required work as indicated on the Contract Drawings or contained elsewhere in these Contract Documents. Braddock Ave & 11th St, Talbot Ave & 7th St, Talbot Ave & 6th St, Talbot Ave & 11th St , Mills St & Corey Ave, Mills St & Charles Way, Lilly Ave & 6th St , 10th St & Braddock Ave, Braddock Ave & Library Parking Lot Bid Items 1 Through 9 - Item includes the cost of labor and materials required to perform the following: o Saw cut section of existing pavement as directed by project representative o Remove existing Inlet. o Install new Type "M" Inlet in road o Connect to existing 6" dia. Influent & 6" dia. Effluent All pipe trenches shall be backfilled and compacted with 2a stone. o Install new concrete sidewalk as needed. o Grass restoration as required and as directed by Project Representative. o Asphalt restoration to be in accordance with Braddock Borough's Street Opening Ordinance. 2. Saw Cut Concrete Road and sidewalks - Item includes the cost of labor and materials required to saw cut existing concrete driveway and sidewalk extending beyond the widening area as shown on plans, and as directed by project Representative. All material excavated shall be hauled offsite to a site having an approved Allegheny County Conservation District Soil Erosion Plan implemented. 3. Remove Concrete Sidewalk - Item includes the cost of labor and materials required to remove Concrete Sidewalk as directed by project Representative, complete in place, as intended or reasonably implied on the Contract Plans or in the Contract Documents. All material excavated shall be hauled offsite to a site having an approved Allegheny County Conservation District Soil Erosion Plan implemented. 4. Remove Concrete Curb - Item includes the cost of labor and materials required to remove existing concrete curb as shown on plans. All material excavated shall be hauled offsite to a site having an approved Allegheny County Conservation District Soil Erosion Plan implemented.
