Goals for female participation in each trade (6.9%) The project site is located on the grounds of the McGehee Municipal Airport (7M1), approximately two (2) miles east of downtown McGehee, Arkansas. The airport is currently classified as a public general aviation airport by the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) and encompasses approximately 141.44 acres. The development site is currently undeveloped and exists as greenspace. Onsite vegetation consists of low to mediumcut grass. Topographically, the project site is relatively flat-lying with minimal grade changes. Question Deadline 03/17/2026 Any person contemplating the submission of a Bid shall have thoroughly examined all of the various parts of these Documents and, should there be any doubt as to the meaning or intent of said Contract Documents, the Bidder should request of the Engineer, in writing (received by the Engineer at least 5 working days prior to bid opening), an interpretation thereof. AIP NO. 3-05-0040-022-2026 (AIG), 25-5807 Sealed bids are invited on a General Contract for the expansion of the asphalt apron at the McGehee Municipal Airport. Bids must be on a unit price basis. Prospective bidders must download bid documents from the specified online plan room to be included in the Plan Holders List and submit a bid. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of all addenda. Disadvantaged business enterprises will have the maximum opportunity to participate. The contract is subject to the Buy American provision, and all required information must be supplied on the bid form. A 5% Bid Security is required. The successful bidder must provide a Certification of Nonsegregated Facilities and notify subcontractors of this requirement for subcontracts exceeding $10,000. An affirmative action program is required within 120 days for contracts of $50,000 or more where the contractor and subcontractors have 50 or more employees. Federal Davis-Bacon wages shall apply. Work must be completed within 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The bid proposal and contract work must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Bidders must have a current general license from the Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Board. A Contractor's Qualification Statement (AIA Document A305) must be submitted as a prerequisite unless submitted in the last six months. The Owner reserves the right to reject bids and waive formalities.
