Proposals Shall Be Accompanied by a Cashier's or Certifiedcheck Upon a National or Statebank in an Amount Not Less Thanfive Per Cent (5%) of the Totalmaximum Bid Price Payable Without Recourse to City of Conway,arkansas, or a Bid Bond in Thesame Amount From a Reliablesurety Company, as a Guaranteethat the Bidder Will Enter Into Acontract and Execute Performanceand Payment Bonds Within Ten(10) Days After Notice of Award of Contract to Him. The Notice Ofaward of Contract Shall Be Given By the Owner Within Sixty (60)days Following the Opening Ofbids. The Successful Bidder Mustfurnish a Performance Bond and a Separate Payment Bond Upon the Forms Provided Herein in Theamount of One Hundred Percent(100%) of the Contract Price Froman Approved Surety Companyholding a Permit From the State Ofarkansas to Act as Surety, or Other Surety or Sureties Acceptable Tothe Owner. The City of Conway Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids,to Waive Any Informalities, and to Accept the Proposal Deemed to Bein Their Best Interest. Questions deadline: 8/14/26 at 2:00 PM
