Addition to an educational facility in Selah, Washington. Completed plans call for the addition of a 167,536-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. An addition to the existing Selah High School building which includes an agriculture lab, construction classroom, construction lab, and support spaces; site work; and other Work related thereto as designated on the Contract Documents. This Work will take place on an existing site currently in use and occupied by the Owner as a school for Grades 9-12. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Directors of Selah School District No. 119 for construction of the Selah High School CTE Addition. General Contractors are to submit their Basic Bid proposals in a sealed envelope and Alternate Bid proposals separately. Drawings and specifications will be available, and bidders may download digital files at no cost or purchase printed documents at their own expense. Bidders wishing to be formally listed as plan holders must register accordingly. Each bid must be accompanied by a surety company bid bond or a certified or bank cashier's check payable to Selah School District No. 119 in an amount not less than five percent of the base bid. The Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
