The project will include interactive water play features and pedestrian improvements to create a family-friendly recreation area within the park. Located near commercial districts and community gathering spaces, the splash pad will increase park use while supporting nearby restaurants, retail and service businesses. Total project cost is $1,122,158. ------------------------ Construction of a splash pad in Riverview Park within the City of Spencer, Iowa. The work includes concrete pavement, electrical and controls, concrete pavement removal, temporary erosion control, concrete formed flatwork foundation, sanitary sewer (gravity), paving (concrete), water utilities, parks, recreation, athletic and aquatic facilities, sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, waterlines, fittings and valves, landscaping (tree and shrub planting), sewer and water construction, sitework excavating and grading, fencing, guardrails, handrails, excavation, landscaping (seeding), and water infrastructure (water meters).
