SUMMARY OF WORK This contract includes the supply of all plant, labour, materials and equipment necessary to complete the tender package as identified in Section 00 21 13 - INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS and in Section 00 21 14- INSTRUCTIONS AUX SOUMISSIONNAIRES and as per drawings and specifications. 1 Contract method: Stipulated Sum. 2 Owner's occupancy: Carry out work in manner to keep disruption of normal building activities minimized. The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following 1. Remove the existing fire alarm system, including all associated obsolete wiring and equipment. 2. Provide and install all new wiring and conduit for a new fire alarm system for both buildings. 3. Install owner supplied fire alarm system components such as main panel, annunciator, intitiating and signal devices, modules, relays. 4. Participate in fire alarm system testing and troubleshooting as necessary. Fire alarm testing and verification will be by others, the fire alarm equipment supplier. The Contractor shall allow for participation in the Integrated Systems Testing in accordance with CAN/ULC S1001. Reference Number NB-BW5332-02 Remove existing fire alarm system including obsolete wiring and equipment; provide new wiring and conduit; install owner supplied fire alarm control panel, annunciator, initiating devices, signal devices, modules and relays; provide complete fire alarm infrastructure for both buildings; participate in testing, troubleshooting, integrated systems testing, verification and commissioning.
