The work consists of providing all materials, equipment, and labor for the construction of the Okeechobee Utility Authority VPS #4 Group C Septic to Sewer Project. This includes the installation of 4-inch diameter PVC sewer laterals, the decommissioning of onsite residential septic tanks, connecting into the existing sewer lateral located at the right-of-way of each residence, and restoration of the work area. Bidders must confine their bids to the entire projectpartial bids will not be considered. Each bidder must submit evidence of being licensed or qualified to perform the work. Bids must be sealed and accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bid bond equal to at least five percent of the bid amount, and the successful bidder must provide performance and payment surety bonds equal to one hundred percent of the contract price within ten days after notice of contract award. Bids may not be withdrawn for ninety days after the date of bid opening. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities, delete portions of the project, extend the project, reject any or all bids, and postpone the award of the agreement.
