Central Bucks School District, Operations Department, 320 West Swamp Road, Doylestown, PA 18901, will receive sealed bids online through PennBid for the 2026 Playground Renovation Project at Doyle Elementary School, Linden Elementary School, and Butler Elementary School. All bid documents, drawings, specifications, and solicitation details will be available at no cost through PennBid. A nominal fee of 0.33% of the bid amount (up to $5,000.00) is assessed only to successful bidders. All bidders should attend the pre-bid meeting, which will begin at Doyle Elementary School and continue to the other schools. Questions during the bidding process must be submitted via the "Messages" feature in PennBid. Proposals must conform to all requirements set forth in the bidding documents. The Central Bucks School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality, eliminate or reduce items or quantities, and exercise its judgment as to the comparative merit of the products and services offered. Installation of erosion and sedimentation control measures, 2. Removal and disposal of existing wood fiber mulch, 3. Selective demolition of site related items and existing playground equipment, 4. Asphalt removal, 5. Site grading to establish design subgrade elevations, 6. Construction of concrete curb and/or concrete paving and/or asphalt paving, 7. Construction of storm piping and drainage features, 8. Installation of stone drainage layer, 9. Receiving new playground equipment, pre-purchased by Owner, 10. Installation of new playground equipment, 11. Installation of pour-in-place rubber safety surface and conducting impact testing, 12. Installation of compacted engineered wood fiber, 13. Installation of site fencing, 14. Restoration of asphalt paving, 15. Clean work area and remove any construction debris, 16. Stabilize all disturbed areas and remove E&S measures.
