Site work for a water / sewer project in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work for which consists of replacing lead or galvanized water taps and service lines, relocating meters to the exterior of the properties, and other work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, special provisions, and City of Columbus Construction and Material specifications set forth in the Invitation For Bid (IFB). This is a lead service line replacement project involving replacement of lead/galvanized water service lines with copper, including excavation, meter relocation to exterior boxes, backfill, restoration, and associated plumbing work. May require City of Columbus Water Contractor License and licensed plumber for meter relocations. Firms must meet the mandatory requirements stated in the IFB for a bid to be considered for contract award. Question Deadline 03/20/2026 at 3:00 PM ET All questions concerning this project are to be sent to DPUConstructionBids@columbus.gov. The last day to submit questions will be phone calls will not be accepted. Responses will be posted on online as an addendum. Notice of published addenda will be posted online and all addenda will be posted online. This project will be funded with financial assistance from the Water Supply Revolving Loan Account (WSRLA) program in association with the Ohio and U.S. Environmental Protection Agencies and does include WSRLA Program specific requirements. The OEPA Diversity Goal is 5.4%.
