The work for which consists of replacing lead or galvanized water taps and service lines, relocating meters to the exterior of the properties, and other work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, special provisions, and City of Columbus Construction and Material specifications set forth in the Invitation For Bid (IFB). This is a lead service line replacement project involving replacement of lead/galvanized water service lines with copper, including excavation, meter relocation to exterior boxes, backfill, restoration, and associated plumbing work. May require City of Columbus Water Contractor License and licensed plumber for meter relocations. Firms must meet the mandatory requirements stated in the IFB for a bid to be considered for contract award.
