Work of the Project consists of, in general, the construction of approximately 11,000 SY of asphalt parking and drive areas, 230 LF of storm drainage pipe, 119 SY of concrete paving and sidewalks, site grading, sod and all appurtenances necessary to complete the work. All Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the Bidder, Bidder's license number, address and name of the project. Envelopes containing bids must be delivered to 606 South Academy Street; Geneva, Alabama 36340 and addressed as follows: “Slocomb High School Drainage Improvements”. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the lowest, responsible, responsive bidder. All bidders shall submit, upon request, a list of projects successfully completed in the last 3 years, having at a minimum the same scope of work and approximate construction cost as specified in this project. All bidders must comply with requirements of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work on which the proposal is submitted. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
