Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Renovate Fralin & STEM for Health Professions project at Virginia Western Community College. The project is generally described as renovation of 3,511 square feet of the Fralin Center to facilitate new health professions programs and 1,742 square feet of the STEM Building to facilitate a new geology lab. The Fralin Center will have two chemistry labs on the fourth floor renovated to house phlebotomy and EMS/Paramedic programs. To provide additional program space, geology will be relocated to the STEM building, where two underutilized math classrooms will be renovated to house a geology lab, lab work/storage room, and office space.
