Renovation of a mixed-use development in New Port Richey, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and library.
The work involves providing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary for the following project elements: removal and replacement of 67 storefront windows, mortar joint repair of brick masonry as needed, and weather sealing of brick masonry as needed. All work must adhere to the construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Bids must be submitted, in triplicate, on the prescribed forms and include bid security in an amount not less than 5 percent of the base bid along with one electronic copy on a USB flash drive. The successful bidder will be required to furnish additional bonds for faithful performance. All bonds and insurance must be executed or countersigned by a licensed resident agent and the surety or insurance company must be licensed to do business in the State of Florida. Bidders must hold or obtain the required contractors and business licenses as required by state statutes. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any reason and may conduct investigations to determine the bidder's qualifications. The envelope must be clearly marked with the bidder's name, full address, and the project name.
