The work consists of performing a single course 1.5-inch cold milling and resurfacing on M-19 from 26 Mile Rd to Pamar Ct, and a 2-inch cold milling and resurfacing from 26 Mile Rd to I-94, in New Haven and New Baltimore, Macomb County. The project includes milling HMA surface, joint and crack repairs, 1.5-inch and 2-inch HMA resurfaces, permanent pavement markings, and other defined work. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidental services required to complete traffic sign installation and repair operations in a safe, workmanlike manner. All work must comply with the MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction, 2020 Edition, and applicable Special Provisions and Supplemental Specifications. The contractor must provide high-visibility apparel for all workers, comply with local ordinances, protect motorists, and ensure safety throughout the project. Performance and lien bonds each for not less than 100% of the contract price are required. Prevailing wage rates must be paid and posted at the project site. Subcontractors must be prequalified and disclosed as required. Pricing is firm for the contract term. Upon completion, the contractor must leave the site clean and all work areas free of debris, tools, and equipment. All contract activities may be subject to reporting, meetings, and submittal requirements.
