Metropolitan is seeking to prequalify contractors for emergency work in various categories to provide personnel, materials, and equipment. Prequalified Contractors shall perform as-needed, emergency work at various Metropolitan facilities and may be required to replace existing equipment with new or used equipment furnished by Metropolitan or by the contractor. Emergency repair services are for sensitive, high-risk, and/or time-restricted projects, which may occur during planned or unplanned facility shutdowns of short duration. Contractors must have the capacity to work around the clock until the work is completed and the facility is returned to service. The categories requiring prequalification are: 1) Pipeline and Water Conveyance Projects: Repairs or New Construction, 2) Mechanical and Treatment Projects: Repairs or New Construction, 3) Electrical and Power Generation Projects: Repairs or New Construction.
