Site work for a water / sewer project in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of rehabilitating approximately 1,077 feet of existing 15-inch diameter non-reinforced concrete pipe (NRCP), 39 feet of existing 15-inch diameter vitrified clay pipe (VCP), and 62 feet of existing 16- to 24-inch diameter cast iron pipe (CIP) with cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners and three adjacent manholes with a protective coating system, and all appurtenant work. All bids must be prepared in accordance with the Bid Documents, Plans, Special Provisions, and Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, 2024 Edition, complete with Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts Amendments and any addenda. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for at least ten percent of the amount bid. Bidders must possess a valid California Contractor's License in the classifications of GENERAL ENGINEERING "A", "C-34", or "C-42" at the time of bid. The successful bidder must file good and sufficient bonds for performance and payment. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage laws and be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations. Est.
