The project consists of reconstruction and/or realignment of the Krape Park South Entrance Drive, including pavement removal, paving, curb and gutter, storm sewer, and restoration. All bids must be accompanied by a bank check, cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond payable to Owner for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations, including the Illinois Prevailing Wage Statutes, the Drug-Free Workplace Act, and the Illinois Human Rights Act. The Freeport Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all technicalities. All bids must be checked in by Fehr Graham's office prior to bid time . Any bidder attempting to deliver after the opening time and date will be refused . There will NOT be a pre-bid meeting. Question Deadline 03/26/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
