The City of Laredo is accepting sealed proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide utility billing modernization consulting services. The services include AMI and AMR metering strategy review and customer information system implementation oversight. Proposals must comply with the Terms and Conditions of the Request for Qualifications and other contract provisions. Electronic bid submission is strongly encouraged through Cit-E-Bid for timely receipt and efficient processing, though hand-delivered bids are also accepted. Hand-delivered proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project title and RFQ number. Vendors submitting bids in person must allow sufficient time for check-in and should note that the City is not responsible for delays during the check-in process. Late bids will not be accepted under any circumstances. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive minor irregularities.
