Alachua County Facilities Management is responsible for maintaining the safety, reliability, and operational performance of electrical systems across County owned facilities. The County seeks to establish a Job Order Contract for Electrical Contractor Services to support these objectives. Qualified, licensed, and experienced electrical contractors will be required to provide on call services for installations, repairs, upgrades, and system modifications. Work may include, but is not limited to, power distribution, lighting systems, panel replacements, equipment connections, backup power systems, fire alarm infrastructure, access control systems, and other building related electrical components. Services may be performed in administrative, judicial, public safety, corrections, and operational facilities. Contractors must be capable of mobilizing quickly, self-performing the majority of the work, managing multiple assignments concurrently, and completing projects with minimal disruption to County operations. Individual job orders will not exceed $200,000 and will be issued on an as needed basis. The County will award contracts to a pool of prequalified contractors who meet strict safety, quality, and cost control standards.
