As of May 06, 2026 project was awarded to Perk Company, Inc, awarded amount is $992,434.96 Lakewood Park West Entrance (Parks Garage Driveway) Pavement Improvements include planing of existing asphalt and concrete pavement, installing a chip seal layer, performing full depth pavement repairs as needed, resurfacing with asphalt concrete, erosion control, pedestrian and vehicular maintenance of traffic safety measures, full-depth concrete replacement, casting adjustments, tuck-pointing of catch basins, and driveway extension per plans and specifications. Various city-wide ADA curb ramp replacements are to be performed as shown in the summary table of locations, ensuring ADA compliance for running slope, cross slope, trip hazards, truncated dome installation, and proper dimensions. City-wide striping work includes removal and replacement of existing pavement markings (crosswalks and stop bars) with epoxy paint or traffic paint as designated in the plans for Detroit Avenue, Lakewood Heights Blvd, Riverside Drive, and citywide locations, including installation of new high-visibility crosswalks as per LS 646. All new striping shall be placed in its original position unless directed otherwise by the City. Alternate 01 includes Lakewood Park Parking Lot Improvements involving planing of existing asphalt, casting adjustments and repairs, concrete replacement, parking lot regrading and replacement of asphalt pavement, curb replacement, and restriping where required, as well as Maintenance of Traffic measures. Alternate 02 involves sealcoating and restriping the entire parking lot, performed in segments to allow for continued public parking, and includes traffic maintenance measures. Alternate 03 covers milling and filling the western drive of Lakewood City Hall with two layers of asphalt and four casting adjustments, to be completed over one weekend. This striping work includes the removal and replacement of existing epoxy pavement markings of crosswalks and stop bars in-kind as well as installation of new highvisibility crosswalks installed as per plan and as per LS 646 on Detroit Avenue from Scenic Street to Hird Avenue. The new striping shall be placed in its original position unless directed by the City. o Lakewood Heights Blvd - See plan sheets and summary table in the contract documents for locations and details. This striping work includes the removal and replacement of any pavement markings called out in the plan sheets and contract documents summary table in kind, as well as installation of new high-visibility crosswalks installed as per plan and as per LS 646. All pavement markings shall be installed with epoxy paint per LS 646 on Lakewood Heights Blvd from Hilliard Road to Chesterland Avenue. The new striping shall be placed in its original position unless directed by the City. o Riverside Drive - See plan sheets and summary table in the contract documents for locations and details. This striping work includes the removal and replacement of any pavement markings called out in the plan sheets and contract documents summary table with epoxy paint per LS 646 on Riverside Drive from Detroit Avenue to Ogontz Avenue. The replacement of pavement markings shall be installed with epoxy paint per LS 646 on Riverside Drive from Detroit Ave to 2061 Riverside Dr. From 2061 Riverside Drive to Ogontz Ave (on concrete pavement) the pavement marking replacementshall be installed with traffic paint per OMUTCD. The new striping shall be placed in its original position unless directed by the City. o High-Visibility Crosswalk Installations See plan sheets and summary table in the contract documents for locations and details. This striping work includes the installation of new high-visibility crosswalks installed as per plan, specs, and detail and as per LS 646 at all locations called out in the plan sheets and summary table in the contract documents. The new striping shall be placed in its original position unless directed by the City. o Various Citywide Striping - See plan sheets and summary table in the contract documents for locations and details. This striping work includes the removal of the existing pavement markings as well as installation of new crosswalks and stop bars as per plan, detail, and specs, with replacement with epoxy paint per LS 646 on throughout the City of Lakewood per summary table and plan sheet. The new striping shall be placed in its original position unless directed by the City.
