Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sachse, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and road / highway.
a. General Location i. The project is located south of Sachse Road and approximately 340-feet south of Timber Creek Court, along West Creek Lane. b. Description i. The project consists of demolition of West Creek Lane, an asphalt rural pavement section with bar ditches, excavation to lower roadway and construction of an 8-inch thick concrete pavement with curb and gutter and an 8-inch lime stabilized subgrade. Roadway demolition and reconstruction will also be required for portions of Medow Creek Lane and Timbercreek Court. Project also consists of removal of existing culverts and headwalls, installation of 12-inch culvert pipe and headwall, installation of rock riprap, installation of sidewalks and erosion control including SWPPP. Engineer's Estimate - $1,500,000.00 Reconstruction of approximately 1,500 linear feet of West Creek Drive from Sachse Road roundabout to Peach Tree Drive alley. Replacement of existing asphalt street with 29-foot wide concrete section with 5-foot wide sidewalk. Drainage will be enclosed within a storm drainage system with additional improvements on side streets. Water lines in West Creek Drive will be replaced.
