Site work for a water / sewer project in Foss, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested for the Water Well Improvement Project. The scope of work includes drilling 20" diameter, 16" diameter, and 4" test holes, installing 10" OD stainless steel screen, 10" PVC SDR 17 Certa Lok well casing, steel surface casing, submersible pump and motor, draw down tube, drop pipe, 4" discharge piping with valve and fittings, 6" PVC C900 DR18 waterline, 6" gate valve and box, bends, reducer, interconnection to existing water storage, electrical improvements, development and test pumping of production water well, well disinfection, well building/enclosure, bacteriological, chemical and radiological tests, hydrostatic pressure test and disinfection of waterline, and erosion and sediment control. A bid bond of 5% of the total amount bid must be attached to all bids. The successful bidder must enter into contract and file required bonds within ten days of award notice. Bids cannot be withdrawn within 45 days after the date of opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or technicalities, and make awards in the Owner's best interest. Specifications are available from the Engineer's office upon payment and bidders must be registered on the bid list to be eligible. Proposals must be received at the designated office by the specified time; late submissions will not be considered.
