Site work and paving for a civil project in Howie Township, North Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.

The work consists of grading, culverts, aggregate base and aggregate surface on 2.0 miles of 34th St. NW. Approximate quantities include: Common Excavation - Type B (2,000 CY), Borrow-Excavation (18,000 CY), Aggregate Base Course CL 5 (12,000 Tons), Gravel Surfacing (6,000 Tons), Geosynthetic Material Type G (37,000 SY), and Pipe Conduit of multiple sizes (1,000 LF). Bids must be submitted on a cash payment basis for the work and materials. Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing the contractor's license and bid security equal to five percent of the full amount of the bid in the form of a bidder's bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond for the full amount of the contract. All bidders must be licensed for the full amount as required by North Dakota law. Bids not fully complying with requirements for bid security and contractor's license will not be considered. The township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informality, rebid until a satisfactory bid is received, and accept the most favorable bid.
