On roads that have been determined to be Reclaimed and Paved, the thickness of Binder Course, which is listed under Item Superpave Intermediate Course - 19.0 (SIC19.0), will be 2.5 inches. The thickness of Top Course which is listed under Superpave Surface Course - 12.5 (SSC 12.5), will be 1.5 inches. On roads that have been determined to be Milled and Overlayed, the thickness of Top Course, which is listed under Superpave Surface Course - 12.5 (SSC 12.5), will be 1.5 inches except where noted below. Reduction in Scope of Work The Owner reserves the right to decrease the scope of the work to be done under this Contract and to omit any work in order to bring the cost within available funds. To this end, the Owner reserves the right to reduce the quantity of any items or omit all of any as set forth in the BID, either prior to executing the Contract or at any time during the progress of the Work. The Owner further reserves the right, at any time during the progress of the Work, to restore all or part of any items previously omitted or reduced.
