Renovation of a residential development in Lowell, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Replacement of Trash Compactors at South Common Village. Work includes all labor, equipment, tools, and transportation required to remove and install new trash compactors located in below grade trash rooms connected to trash chutes in high-rise buildings. All bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates, if any) and made payable to the Lowell Housing Authority . The LHA reserves the right to amend or cancel this IFB, accept or reject any and all bids and waive minor informalities The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, and transportation required to remove and install new trash compactors located in below-grade trash rooms connected to trash chutes at 227 Gorham Street and, subject to available funding, at 198 South Street and 65 Summer Street. All proposed amounts must represent the complete cost of the alternate work, including overhead, profit, and all coordination with adjacent and related work. The existing compactor is a Model XM-40 bag packer trash compactor. The age of this compactor is approximately 15 years Questions - concerning this IFB must only be submitted in writing to Rita V.
