Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Orlando, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a power facility; and pipeline.
The request is for professional engineering and consulting services related to the construction of a new 230 kV transmission line, including a new substation and transmission interconnection project. The scope of work includes transmission and substation engineering, support of transmission system operations, construction support, and environmental engineering and permitting. The engineering and design, procurement, and construction support services for the project encompass a new 230 kV substation (six or eight bays), and building new 230 kV underground and overhead transmission lines from Lake Nona Sub 32 to the new Cargo Road substation, and from the new Cargo Road substation to Pershing Sub 6, totaling 10.4 miles (4.8 miles overhead and 5.6 miles underground). The project starts with conceptual engineering and environmental aspects, defining the substations' initial and ultimate build-out, interconnection requirements, environmental plans, permitting support, and providing OUC with a budgetary cost estimate and schedule. Substation and Transmission qualifications and Environmental work will be evaluated independently for prospective awards.
