Bids are requested for ODOT Item 422 Single Chip & Seal with repairs and stipulated traffic control on 6.17 miles of roads in Lafayette Township, Medina County, Ohio. Lafayette Township will supply the No.8 ACBF Slag Aggregate, loader, and operator at the Township Garage located at 6776 Wedgewood Road, Medina, Ohio 44256. The contractor is responsible for hauling, spreading, and rolling the cover aggregate. Each bidder must file a bid guaranty with the bid in the form of either a Bid/Performance Bond equal to 100% of the amount bid, or a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Letter of Credit equal to 10% of the amount bid, conditioned on execution of a contract if the bid is accepted. Contractor compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements detailed in the bid documents is required. All contractors and subcontractors must use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor to the extent practicable and comply with Equal Opportunity requirements per Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 and specific Governor's Executive Orders.
