1. Contractor shall remove and dispose of approximately 70,000 sq. ft. of VCT floor tile. 2. Contractors shall prep floors for new flooring. 3. Contractor shell provide and install approximately 70,000 sq. ft. of VCT tile. 80% Pat craft Color 00140 Crossover Desert -V2, 10% Pat craft Color 00850 Robin - V2 Crossover and 10% Pat craft Color 00570 Shadow - V2. 4. Contractor shall be responsible for verifying square footage needed during the mandatory job walk. (District square footage is only an approximate amount). 5. Contractor shall provide and install new 4" cove base to match existing throughout the project. 6. Contractor shall be responsible for moving furniture as needed and replacing it once flooring is installed. Provide labor and materials to replace flooring per scope of work at Adelanto High School. Bidders must possess a valid and active contractor's license of the required classification and be currently registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. A mandatory job walk must be attended in its entirety. This is a prevailing wage project. Electronic certified payroll records must be furnished to the Labor Commissioner. A Payment Bond for contracts over $25,000 and a Performance Bond for all contracts will be required prior to commencement of work. OWNER will retain 5% of any progress payments. No prequalification is required for this project. Submission of a bid constitutes the bidder's representation that they have thoroughly reviewed and will comply with California Labor Code requirements as more fully discussed in the contract documents.
