Renovation of a recreation facility in North Adams, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.
The City of North Adams is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified architectural design firms to prepare a bid-ready set of plans and specifications for exterior improvements at the Historic Heritage State Park. The project includes the design of roofing, siding, window, and door improvements for Buildings One, Two, Three, Five, and Six at the park. The objective is to develop bid-ready plans and specifications for the described work. Designers' qualifications and performance will be evaluated according to M.G.L. c. 7C, 48. The fee for this RFQ will be negotiated with the highest-ranked designer. If a satisfactory fee cannot be negotiated, negotiations will proceed with other ranked designers in order. The not-to-exceed fee for the project is $250,000. Prospective proposers must carefully examine all information and materials in the solicitation. The City reserves the right to waive minor informalities, negotiate with the selected proposer, or reject any or all proposals. The City will not be liable for costs incurred in the preparation or submission of qualifications. Complete sets of solicitation documents must be used. Errors resulting from incomplete or modified sets are at the proposer's risk.
