All single-family homes have mandatory inclusion and shall be charged as described for services provided in the contract. Commercial and industrial customers are not included in this contract but may have the option to become a customer if they so choose. Commercial customers may choose any private firm for the collection, transportation, processing, and/or disposal of solid waste and recyclable materials that best meets their budgetary restrictions. The contractor will be responsible for providing both efficient and economical residential curbside solid waste collection and legal disposal two times per week and assisting in the transfer from non-exclusive trash collection service to exclusive. The contractor must also provide efficient and economical residential curbside recycling collection for sale in marketable products once per week on the same day as one of the two designated trash collection days. The contractor is expected to maximize sanitary and esthetic living conditions for the citizens of the city of Brookside Village and to maintain positive communications with the city and the customers. Estimated single-family residential service accounts: 640 Brookside Village City Hall: 1 Estimated potential commercial businesses: 15-20 The City of Brookside Village has the authority to enter into contracts to furnish or receive solid waste management services as it deems appropriate.
