Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Athens, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and educational facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for Paving Improvements at Cedar Hill Elementary, Johnson Elementary, and Clements High School. A cashier’s check or bid bond payable to the Limestone County Board of Education in an amount not less than five percent of the bid, but not more than $10,000, must accompany each proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and proof of insurance will be required at contract signing. Drawings and specifications can be examined at the specified engineering office, and bid documents may be obtained by email request. Construction must be completed by July 31, 2026. Bids must be on forms provided by the Engineer, and bidders exceeding the State Licensing Board threshold must be licensed under Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, with their current license number displayed on the envelope. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors to promote their best interests.
