Site work for a water / sewer project in Heflin, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Separate sealed bids are requested for the installation of an 800 kw diesel generator at an existing water booster station. The work includes the generator, concrete pad, automatic transfer switch, SCADA, wiring, and related items. Bidders must submit security with their bid, in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The requirements for conditions of employment and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract must be observed. Bidders must comply with the State Licensing Board for General Contractors and Alabama competitive bid laws for public works, and be properly licensed as required. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the bid opening. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
