Preliminary and final design services are sought to provide safety improvements on Bluff Drive to decrease roadway departures causing crashes. The work includes analysis of Bluff Drive between Lindon Avenue and Despatch Drive with respect to the significant number of automobile crashes. Preliminary Design will include, but is not limited to, preparation of Design Approval documents including mapping, cost evaluation, preparation of preliminary design, and presentation at a public information meeting. Final Design will include, but is not limited to, design of safety countermeasure improvements, maintenance and protection of traffic during construction, preparation and submission of final Plans, Specifications and Estimate for the project. Construction Support will include, but is not limited to, providing technical support during construction, addressing questions relating to the design, providing assistance in construction bid proceedings, analysis of bids, and review of shop drawings as needed. Construction Observation will include, but is not limited to, on-site construction observation and oversight to ensure the quality of construction and conformity with final plans and specifications. A record drawing will also be required. Submissions must consist of three copies of the GSA Standard Form SF330. The number of additional pages must not exceed 10, all to be one-sided. Pages beyond the 10-page limit will be removed. Under Section H of the SF330 Form, a brief description of the proposed project approach and schedule may be included, as well as statements addressing the selection criteria not covered in other sections of the SF330.
