Site work and paving for a civil project in Conover, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
The work under this proposal consists of clearing, grubbing, excavating, restoration, crushed aggregate base course, final grading and compacting roadway. The work shall be executed under the requirements of the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Edition of 2023 and according to the current year State of Wisconsin supplemental specifications and the special provision specifications attached. The Town of Conover is seeking sealed bids for the widening and graveling of approximately 3 miles of East Flowage Rd. in the Town of Conover for fiscal year 2026. Bids are also being accepted for the replacement of culverts on Razorback Rd. as part of the Bridge Aid Program. Bidders may refer to the Schedule of Prices available on the Town's website for further details. All bids must be received by 5:55 PM on March 12th, 2026, and will be opened at the Town Board Meeting that evening. The Town of Conover reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the town. Bids are to be mailed to the Town of Conover, P.O. Box 115, Conover, WI 54519.
