Renovation of an educational facility in Dolton, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for courtyard exterior window and door replacement at Thornridge High School for the Board of Education of Thornton Township High School District 205. The work will be awarded under one general construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder. Qualified contractors must inform the architect prior to receiving plans and specifications and must submit an A.I.A. Document A-305 (Contractors Qualification Statement) for this project. Each bid must include a bid bond or certified check of not less than ten percent of the total bid. A 100% Performance Bond and Labor/Material Payment Bond will be required of the successful bidder, written by a Surety approved by the Owner. Not less than the prevailing wage shall be paid for labor as required by law. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all State of Illinois and federal laws relating to public works, including the Illinois School Code and Human Rights Act. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or technicalities, and award the bid in the manner that best serves the interests of the Owner as permitted by law.
