*Additional information, including drawings, are available from architect.* The project involves the parking lots and drive areas receiving new seal coat and striping. Stormwater management practices are required to treat runoff from all new impervious areas, which may include bio-retention, bio-filtration, or filter strips. Erosion and sediment control measures must be provided for all disturbed areas, possibly combining inlet protection, silt fencing, straw mulching, erosion control matting, and sediment traps. Site construction will require grading and drainage improvements for proper drainage away from proposed outbuildings and new walkways. Site features include new ADA walkways, resurfacing and striping of track, new dugouts for both baseball and softball fields, new fencing, new bleachers, and nine new parking spaces. An alternate includes additional mill and overlay work described in the construction documents as Alternate 1. Only general contractors may submit bids. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for bidding. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of 10 percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond and payment bond equal to 100 percent of the contract price. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
