Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Participation Goal: 0% Minimum Number of Required DBE/MBE/WBE Alternates: 0 for each DBE/MBE/WBE firm proposed This agreement will provide construction inspection services for a capital project to resurface the asphalt pavement riding surface at the following locations in Suffolk County. 1. NY111 (Wheeler Road) from Long Island Expressway South Service Road (906A) to NY454 (Veterans Memorial Highway) in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County 2. NY111 (Islip Avenue) from NY27A (Main Street) to Suffolk Avenue in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County 3. NY25 (Middle Country Road) from NY25A (Parker Road) to 0.1 mile east of Splish Splash Drive/Manor Road in the Town of Riverhead, Suffolk County Proposed work in this "1-R" project will include milling 2"of the existing asphalt riding surface and replacing it with 2"of new warm mix asphalt. Also included are some isolated full depth asphalt and/or composite pavement repairs, new top course asphalt resurfacing and new pavement markings. ITS elements such as traffic signal loops and traffic count loops are to be replaced where necessary on all travel lanes and shoulders within the project limits. All shoulders and entrance/exit ramps within the project limits are to be included, as well as any curb ramps which are deemed non-compliant. Drainage work is also included in the project scope. This includes, but is not limited to, frame and grate adjustments and replacements, cleaning of drainage structures excluding block basins, and other work as existing conditions dictate. Utility valves, manhole adjustments and worn covers will be addressed as existing conditions dictate a need. The project will identify and correct existing deficient pedestrian facilities, typically curb ramps and crosswalks, as well as correct existing deficient bicycle facilities within the project limits.
